     The prayer wheel practice is powerful in purifying the mind and in accumulating extensive merits. One of the benefits of the prayer wheel is that it embodies all the actions of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the 10 directions. To benefit sentient beings, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas manifest in the prayer wheel to purify all our negative karmas and obscurations, and to cause us to actualize the realizations of the path to enlightenment. All the beings (not only the people but also the insects), in the area where the prayer wheel is built are saved from rebirth in the lower realms; they receive a deva or human body, or are born in a pure land of Buddha. If you have a prayer wheel in your house, your house is as same as the pure land of Buddha.

    Thardo Korlo is not Mani wheels. It is much more than Mani wheels. It is Dharma Wheel. Because a Mani wheel only has one kind of mantras. Thardo Korlo contains a perfect complete structure of sutras, scripts and mantras to purify all our negative karmas and obscurations, and cause us to actualize the realizations of the path to enlightenment. All of mantras and sutras in it are written in Tibetan.


His Holiness the 17th Karmapa gave his inscription of Thardo Korlo in November 1999:	Thardo Korlo is blessed and directed by the famous Dzogchen Shri Singha Five Sciences Buddhist University, and Dzogchen Pema Tang Retreat Center, jointly made and sold by Buddha Wheel Company. Every sutra or script is lined in one row from the beginning to the end without a word began in a new line.
